Q: Assalam aliaikum

Soon will come the holy month of Ramadan, and I'm worried about whether it can be to keep the fast in case of daily administration of hormonal drugs (prescribed by a doctor). I take medication at bedtime, that is, after the evening meal (iftar). Anar.

A: You can take the medicine at night. Taking medicine in the day invalidates the fast.

May Allah cure you.

I found an incurable hereditary disease, I need to be on a special diet for life and life-long medication. Medications should be taken four times a day. In case of refusal they can come death or serious complications. Every year I held a fasting in the holy month of Ramadan and would continue to do so, but my illness does not give me that opportunity. I can not even be able to recover fasting at another time, because, again, the medication was appointed for life. I heard that people in such a case, should feed the poor person for each missed day of fasting.
1. Tell me, if I right and how to do this? That is, I have to distribute food every day or I can calculate how much the average spend on food per day, and every day to give this amount to needy people? Or, you can calculate how much I spend on food per month, and at the beginning of Ramadan to pay all this money?
2. If I give people money rather than handing out food, then does it matter, will this money for food? And if they go on medication, for example?
3. I very, very impossible to keep the fast? Can I just swallow the pill 4 times a day without drinking water? Stupid question, but I can not get over the fact that I was now on life is devoid of a cool feature, as fasting during Ramadan ... K.

A: If you have permanent sickness that will prevent you from fasting, and cannot make up the missed days in Qada', then for each missed day you give a poor person one mudd of the common staple food. So the expiation is a pair of average-sized hands cupped together (mudd) filled with the most common staple food of the town.

There's more details on our site www.alsunna.org. If you can take the medicine at night, fine, but Taking medicine in the day invalidates the fast.

I'm going to keep the fast of Ramadan, but the problem is that I drink tablet 3 times daily with meals (or, washed down with water). How can I be? Take pills or to abstain from fasting, and when finished a course of treatment, fasting? Orhan.

I keep a three-year fasting at the beginning of Ramadan and the recent five-perform namaz. I intend this year to hold the fasting, but the fact that the fasting coincides with my practical training in another city, and there I would have to be 12 hours a day outdoors, doing physical labor. I am afraid that my body can not withstand such loads. Can you please tell me how to be? AIMA.

A: This is not an excuse to break your fast or miss your day. Having Sahoor can help you keep strong in the day.

May Allah enable you to complete your fasting.

When I was last year held uraza, then missed a few days (4-7 days) due to treatment. How do I pay, I do not remember how many days I missed. F.

A: You must make up those days in Qada' after Ramadan is over. Paying expiation is only for the one who is unable to fast Islamically such the frail elderly person, or the one who has permanent sickness that prevents him from Fasting.

How to adjust the training load during the fast? I have been practicing Islam for over a year, active physical exercise began in January of this year. The results are, but I'm afraid, will have to postpone the training at the time of Ramadan. Give advice.

How to fast women? Missed days because of menstruation and then whether to fill?Is it possible to rinse your mouth with water in the morning? And when you give a bath if you can rinse your mouth and nose, wash with water? Marina.

A: The menstruating woman (In Haid) and the postportum bleeding woman (In Nifas) cannot fast until she is pure. But she must make up all the missed days in Qada', after Ramadan is over.

Rinsing the mouth is alright as long as one does not swallow any of the water, and not to do it excessively. Washing ears and nose lightly is alright as well.

Please help me make the right decision. I am a Christian, Russian. Experiencing strong feelings toward Muslims, he Tatar. Feelings of mutual and incredibly strong. For the first time in 28 years feel like that. He was 31 years old, religious and practicing for the past 5 years. He was married (nikyah), divorced three months later. He has a very difficult character, but I'm not scared. I largely agree with him. For example, that children should grow up in a family of like-minded people. And very grateful to him, he tells me about Islam, teaches. I myself grew up in Tatarstan, in my environment has always been Muslims. I close the religion of the spirit. Recently, I began to study Islam and learned a lot from your site. I do not want to make rash, I want to feel the heart and soul. And his mother pushes him so that he quickly made the decision and read nikyah or cease communication. I also do not want to pull, the years go by.
1. Can you please tell what to do with making a decision. Maybe put a time frame?
2. Can my beloved man to be my mentor in Islam?
3. Can I observe a fast if I have not said Shahadah and do not observe religious practices?
4. How do you feel about mixed marriages? Camila.

A: Become a Muslim imediately, you will not lose anything, but you will gain a lot of benefit, and all your sins will be erased by Islam. Islam is the only true religion that is accepted by God. You never know when one dies, then it's too late.

Say with your tongue and with belief in your heart: I testify that no one is God except Allah and that Muhammad (Abul-Qassim) is the Messenger of Allah. If you say that, then you are a Muslim!!

You cannot fast or pray before becoming a Muslim, because Islam is a condition for the validity and acceptance of the good deeds.

Any person that is a believer Muslim and honest, we advise you to accept his marriage no matter what nationality he is from.

Now the opportunity presents itself again for us to tell you of something that will be better for you in this world and in the Hereafter, which is to enter Islam and become a Muslim who affirms the Oneness of Allah, the Creator of the universe and the Provider of all creation. This religion to which we are calling you is the religion of Jesus (peace be upon him) and the religion of Abraham and their fellow Prophets and Messengers, all of whom worshipped One Lord, namely Allah, may He be glorified and exalted.

They devoted their worship to Him alone, with no partner or associate, and they called the people to do likewise. Islam is the religion that brought rulings which are suited to all times and all places; it addresses the interests of individuals and societies. You will feel great happiness, as has been experienced by those who have gone ahead of you on this path. After that, Allah will make it easy for you to find a suitable husband who will take care of you, give you your rights and seek reward with Allah by taking care of your children, and perhaps you and he will attain the reward of their becoming Muslim and you will be together with them in this world and the Hereafter. If you do not become Muslim, then you must understand that even if you are together with a Muslim man as his wife in this world, in the Hereafter you will inevitably be separated from him. This underlines what we have said, that your becoming Muslim means attaining success in this world and in the Hereafter. Being together with your husband and children in the Paradise of eternity is a great success for which wise people strive and those who are doomed miss out on.

We ask Allah to guide you to that which is best for you in this world and in the Hereafter, and to make it easy for you to find a righteous and good husband.

I'm going on a business trip during Ramadan for 2 weeks. I'm going to a distance of 2,000 kilometers from Moscow. During the trip I may have more patrols in the region travel. I am a traveler? Keep or not to fast? Muslim.
A: You must Fast. Although you are a traveler, but because your are staying more then four days (excluding the entry and exit days) then you must pray normal and fast according to Imam ash-Sahfi^iy.

If the traveler intends to stay in the destination place for four days or more, other than the two days of entry and exit, then he cannot perform al-jam^ or al-qasr in prayer while residing in his destination place.

For the third year my youngest child tries to join us (me, husband and daughter 16 years old) to hold the fasting. This holiday - the most beloved, and a year ago, after spending the entire day, as expected (he was 9) went happily and said: "Today I have a pet of Allah!" He's trying to keep the whole day. Even our exhortations with her husband, as he was not an adult and can only fast for several hours, no help. He stubbornly holds his ground and does not eat, but here during the day yes, no, no drinks of water, even though he knows that water can not drink until sunset, and then asked, "Mom, I be counted?" - "All Lord willing, - I say - and he sees your sincere desire! "But I myself do not know, is an indulgence allowed the child to 10 years? He is trying very hard to keep.
And now, clean and decorate the apartment as a family before our big holiday, and I know that my son will again try to keep the first few days with us, and then will slowly drink water and ask ... I know this question it will be torment. Please reply if there is relief for a child 10 years? Lana.

A: The child who did not reach puberty, is not obligated to fast, but his guardian (like father) is obligated to order him to fast IF the child is able. But if that child borke the fast, he or she is not sinful because they are not accountable (Mukallaf), they are not pubescent yet.

Cigarette smoking is prohibited during the day? Artem.

Smoking Cigarette during the day invalidates the fasting.

And anesthesia injections violate a fasting? Kairat.

As a pregnant woman to fast? Are there any exemptions? Asiyat.

A: Yes, if the pregnant or nursing women was worried about her health or her baby, she is permitted to break the fast, but must make up the days after Ramadan in Qada'. If she was afraid for her baby only, then she must do Qada', and pay expiation to give one "mudd" of the common staple food to a poor person.

So, the pregnant woman is allowed not to fast if she fears that harm would come to her or her baby from her fasting. As well, the breast-feeding woman is allowed not to fast if she fears harm would come to her or her baby from her fasting. Both must make up every one of the missed days of fasting. As well, if the reason they did not fast was solely the fear of harming their baby, then in addition to making up the missed days of fasting, they must pay an expiation, a "Mudd" or two cupped, average-sized handfuls of the most common staple food of the country, for each day they missed.

The question concerns the pregnancy, children and the fasting month of Ramadan. My wife and been married for almost 4 years. The first pregnancy we have handled responsibly: passed all necessary tests, consulted doctors, etc. Pregnancy proceeded perfectly: all the tests were normal, no infections, either before or after the pregnancy was not, not even a disease of SARS and influenza. However, the first child died on the eighth month of pregnancy due to strangulation of the umbilical cord.Because the cause was obvious, no autopsy was performed. After that, the doctors prescribed did not plan the pregnancy for six months. Upon the expiration of six months, my wife got pregnant again (presumably in the past month of Ramadan).Tests were also good. 2 months later his wife was put on the preservation under the supervision of physicians, and after a few days of a miscarriage (12 hours after ultrasound, which showed that there was no danger, the fetus attaches great).Doctors appointed to a new period of waiting of pregnancy - a year.
There are a few questions:
1. What is the status of Muslim children who die before birth, where they belong? In the famous hadith to me we are talking about three or two births, but died later children. I could not find information about stillbirths.

A: What is obligated on the Muslims towards the stillborn Muslim whose look is humanely, but did not exhibit the signs for life like screaming,
He has to be washed, shrouded and buried. They do not pray for him. But if he exhibits the signs of life, then they must pray Janazah for him.

2. That in Islam says about miscarriages?
A: to do abortion after the soul is in fetus (after four months) is haram and is like killing a person. But for miscarriages of the baby who exhibits the signs of life, the parents must be patient and not object on Allah's will. They will meet their child in Paradise insha'Allah who will intercede (give Shafa^ah) for them.

3. All the past years, when fasted wife, she is very greatly reduced hemoglobin, and in the morning almost every day was nose is bleeding. In a normal regular eating it - a healthy person. Therefore, given our history of pregnancy, and taking into account the physical state of the constitution and his wife (153 sm/45 kg), it is not possible to hold the fasting this year? Waiting period will expire on the next pregnancy in September. I am very afraid of weakening her body before the next pregnancy.

A: The pregnant woman is allowed not to fast if she fears that harm would come to her or her baby from her fasting. As well, the breast-feeding woman is allowed not to fast if she fears harm would come to her or her baby from her fasting. Both must make up every one of the missed days of fasting. A:
4. What do you think about the dangers of ultrasound? Should I insist that they should not make test? Ramil.
A: Better to avoid it. And if the women has to uncover her ^Awrah without an Islamic reason, then it's haram.

May Allah accept your good deeds.

Can I keep some days of Ramadan fasting on Meccan time, such as not such a hot weather, and the other - in Moscow? Or, depending on whether the bother stomach and pancreas in certain days (I have a chronic illness). Ruslan.

I'm going to hold the fasting, but I would like to clarify one thing. I work in Dushanbe, Monday through Friday and on weekends leaving his wife and children in Kulyab (200 km). After spending the weekend with them, going back to Dushanbe to work. That is, more than 90 miles, and spend in Dushanbe and Kulyab less 15 days. Which of these cities, I am a traveler? And if I am a traveler at all? Umedzhon.

A: if you are staying the weekend, then yes you are a traveler if you leave before Fajr, then you are permitted to break the fast that day. If you leave after Fajr, you cannot break the fast for that day, but you stay another day or or two, you can break the fast as a traveler.

Even if fasting is not tedious, it is permissible for the traveler of a shortening distance (qasr) not to fast. But you must make up Qada' the missed days after Ramadan is over.

The one who is traveling a distance of two or more walking days is allowed to not fast provided his traveling is not sinful. Two or more walking days distance is about 80 miles. This traveler is permitted to break his fast even though he would not encounter hardship in his trip, such as if he crossed this distance quickly, by plane, or comfortable, in a car or a train. The matter of traveling is not based on the hardship, rather it has to do with the distance. This facility for the traveler was mentioned in the Qur’an.

Allah said in Surat al-Baqarah, Verse 184: which means:
<<If you are sick or traveling, then you are allowed to break your fast and make up these days later.>>

Over how many years a person is obliged to fast in Ramadan? I heard that the age of 15. Dzhovhar.

A: Fasting is obligation on the accountable Muslim, who is sane and reached puberty.

Pubescence happens at the first emission of the Maniy (spermal fluid), or reaching the age of fifteen (15) lunar years. And for the female, to see any of these two signs, or to menstruate (menses). The sane person is the one who has not lost his/her mind.

The child is not obligated to fast. Rather, it is an obligation on the parents or the guardian of the boy or girl to order him to fast once he is 7 (lunar) years old, with the condition that the child’s body can withstand that fasting, and he would not be harmed by it.

Fasting is not obligatory on a person whose body cannot tolerate fasting, either due to old age or because of a severe illness. Moreover, if a person would be harmed by fasting, that is, because of his fasting his sickness would get worse, or he would die, then fasting is prohibited for him. A: Yes, you still have to Fast.

Even if one does not Pray, he or she still must fast. Not praying without an Islamic excuse is an enormous sin, but not fasting is another enormous sin. So if one missed both, then one is committing two major sins for every obligation.

I am 16 years old. Is it possible at the time of the Haida (period) does not hold the fasting, but after a day of Eid al-Adha holiday to make up these days? .

A: Yes.
Fasting is not obligatory on the menstruating woman (Menses; Haid) or the woman who is in her post-

The woman who missed days of fasting during Ramadan for these reasons has to make up Qada' each missed day after Eid.
