Amiability

Ramadan has passed

•   The Prophet, mercy and peace upon him said:
One of Paradise's doors is called arRayaan. Those who fast enter from it in the Hereafter and none other than them will enter from it. It will be said: where are those who fasted (seeking Allah's reward and fasted sincerely to Allah). They will then enter and none other than them enter from this door. (alBukhariyy and Muslim)

•   The one who pushes oneself for obeying Allah is in reality bringing comfort to him/her. The one who ties himself to fulfilling Allah's orders and to refraining from Allah's prohibitions is in reality liberating himself.
Hadith
The Prophet, mercy and peace upon him said:
The example of the believers who obey Allah in sharing mercy, amiability and affection with one another is like one body when it complaints about an organ the whole body shares the pain, fatigue and fever. (alBukhariyy; Muslim has a similar narration)
•   The believer mentioned in this hadith is the one who has the perfect and complete belief, i.e., the one who is fully compliant with Islamic Laws and is the Righteous Muslim. Such believers do not act except according to what the full commitment to Islam dictates. Consequently, they deserve the description mentioned about them in the above hadith of the Prophet, mercy and peace upon him.
o   They are merciful to one another and exchange mercy. Each one of them shows mercy to the other and one does not treat another, whether in a worldly or a religions affair, except by abiding the mercy that Allah has put in one's heart.
o   They care for one another and are warm towards one another. They help one another to strengthen one another like when the part of the cloth is folded to make the whole cloth strong.
o   They are one body when it comes to all of its organs. The similarity between the whole group and the whole body is shown when each body's organ coordinates fatigue and comfort to serve the group's members or the body's organs.
o   The members call one another to participate in tolerating the pain. Out of the organ being deprived of sleep and experiencing pain fever develops; it is now common to all the body and encountered likewise by the whole group.
This mercy which happens to the guided believers is proportional to their degree of guidance. The better share of guidance the believer has, the believer's share of mercy would be greater and more abundant.
Sooratul Fath, 29
This is what sooratul Fath, 29, emphasized:
The Companions of Muhammad the Messenger of Allah are attributed with standing hard against the disbelievers but showing mercy towards one another.
For this reason the Companions were the most merciful to the nation after its Prophet, mercy and peace upon him.
Abu Bakrus Siddeeq was the most merciful to the Nation from among the Nation, because Allah gave him both the vast knowledge and vast mercy.
The Prophet's Mercy
•   Our Prophet, mercy and peace upon him, was merciful to the creation in general and to the believers in particular.
•   Allah described him, mercy and peace upon him, by that mercy, praised him for the mercy he, mercy and peace upon him, exhibited and conveyed his merits.
Allah addressed the Prophet, mercy and peace upon him in soorat 'Aal `Imraan, 159:
Because of Allah's mercy and his pity to you, you would treat your Companions and followers with softness. Allah attributed you with clemency and made your manners easy and good so that you tolerate the harm of those who hurt you. You pardon those who commit the sinful doing and you overlook many of the misdoings which if they were to be reciprocated by harshness and anguish it would cause your followers to leave you. Then, they would not benefit from the mercy that Allah brought because of you (mercy and peace upon Prophet Muhammad).
Lady Zaynab's Son
Many of the Prophet's hadith speak about the Prophet's mercy.
Among those is the incident narrated by alBukhariyy and Muslim when upon Lady Zaynab's request the Prophet, mercy and peace upon him, went to his daughter's Zaynab house to see her dying son. The Prophet, mercy and peace upon him, was accompanied with Sa`d bin `Ibaadah, Mu`aadh bin Jabal, Ubayy bin Ka`b, Zayd bin Thaabit and other men.  The Prophet, mercy and peace upon him, cried and his eyes flooded with tears.
Then Sa`d inquired about this crying. The Prophet, mercy and peace upon him said:
This is mercy that Allah puts in his servant's hearts and Allah grants mercy to those who are merciful from among his servants.
Such tears are the traces of mercy. That is, the tears that flow out undeliberately because of the heart's sadness are not blameworthy. What is prohibited is to show fear because of death and to have lack of patience.
Conclusion
In these good days, it is more ascertained to follow the way of clemency and affection that the Prophet, mercy and peace upon him, came to teach.
Muslims' affection toward one another should pull them closer to one another so the Muslim community feels about the suffering and happiness of its members.
When one Muslim experiences pain, it should be as if the whole community is in pain. Such bonding is nurtured by spreading the care, affection and love among the community.
O Allah forgive us, grant us mercy and repentance. You are AtTawaab and AlGhafoor -- the One Who accepts our repentance and forgives our sins. All praise is to Allah the Lord of the Worlds.
