QASIDAT AL-ISLAM
(A Poem About the Beauty of Islam)

As-Salaam ^Alaykum
As-Salaam ^Alaykum
Muhammad, Ya Habibi
As-Salaam ^Alaykum

We are here not to stay
We're gonna leave one of these days
Be sincere, avoid all sin
Follow the Prophet and you will win

If you want your face to glow
On the Judgement Day follow
The Prophet's way and you will see
From Allah great great mercies

Work real hard, the good deeds save
This will help you in the grave
It's for real there's no return
There's so much we gotta learn

Know that your Lord is not a body
Not a spirit, light or soul
Unto Him there is no likeness
He does not have an equal

Know that your Lord always existed
Without a body or a place
He made every direction
That your mind can embrace

Jesus came with al-Islam
So did Moses, and Abraham
One belief the Prophets taught
Islam is what Prophets brought

Jesus showed the light and way
All Prophets taught us to say
Worship God! Not what He made
This foundation they all laid
