Translation of Sunni Poem: حِنّا اتْبَاع الهاشمي السيِّدِ المخت

حِنّا اتْبَاع الهاشمي السيِّدِ المختار ، طه حبيب الله الواحد القهار،
حِنّا اتْبَاع أبو بكر عمر وجعفر الطيار، وحِنّا اتْبَاع حسن وحسين وعثمان وعلي الكرّار
وحِنّا اتْبَاع ابن عوف طلحة وزبير وضِرَار ، وحِنّا اتْبَاع سعد وسعيد واتْبَاع عامر وعمار،
وحِنّا اتْبَاع لكل ولي من أوليا الجبار،  وحِنّا اتْبَاع العبدري بكل عز وفخار
تَبِي تعرف حنا مِنُو، راح أعرفك نَهْجنَا واختصر اختصار، 
بس إنت سَجّل عِزنا واحفظ الأخبار، حِنّا شعب يَرْفُض الذل ويَرْفُض العار   
وبشجاعتنا حكاية ينكتب فيها أشعار، وحِنّا شعب نشتاق للجنة ونَكْرَه النار،
حِنّا ثوابت بينات والزمن دوار، وحِنّا شعب بالنهج ما علينا غبار،
حِنّا نجومٍ ساطعات بليل ونهار، وحِنّا أنيسٍ بالدُّجى وكلنا قمار،
وحِنّا عطورٍ فايحات نعطر ديار، حِنّا أحلى للنظر من ورود وأزهار،
حِنّا لمشاريع الخير والهدى عُمّار، وحِنّا ثمارٍ طيبات من أحلى الثمار
تبِي تعرف حنا مِنُو، حِنّا شعب بالإحسان والخير والمعروف أَمّار
بالعقيدة أشعرية نقول وصوتنا هَدّار، رَبِّي تَنَزّه عن مكان وعن تحيز وانحصار،
ونعتقد ما يشَبِّه ربي بمن خلق إلا كفار، قلوبهم من عمى القلب صارت احجار
حنا نتبرك بالنبي وبكل ما ترك آثار، ولو نقدر بنعل النبي وعد نكحل الاشفار
ذُولا مشاريع العَصر نُورهُم يُبْهِر إِبْهَار، بالمختصر بغية الطالب وبعقيدتهم إظهار
ذُولا رجال العبدري نهجهم نهج الأخيار، راح قدم لك نصيحة وانت عاقل وتَخْتَار
كون من السواد الأعظم واتْرُك عُصْبَة الأَشْرَار، واثْبُت على التوحيد إيش ما دَهَاك وصَار
واخْتِمُ بالصلاة مني على طه سيدِ الأبرار، من لأجله تُشَد رِحَال وتحلى لأجله الأسفار
ما سَلّم عليهِ مُحِبّ وصَلّى وكررٍ تِكْرَار، ما زَاد بالمَدحِ مَدّاح وما علّا طيرٍ وطَار
وما ظل بالحجرة الشريفة قَبْر صَاحِبَه بالغار، وما ظل قَبْر العبدري مِنْ كُل عاشقٍ ينْزَار

حنا أتباع الهاشمي السيد المختار
We are the followers of the Hashimiy Chosen Prophet

•   We are the followers of the Hashimiy Chosen Prophet, Taha, the beloved by Allah the almighty
•   We are the followers of Abu Bakr, Omar, Ja^far at-Taiyyar
•   We are the followers of al-Hassan, al-Hussain, Othman and Ali the powerful
•   We are the followers of Ibn Ouwf, Talha, az-Zubayr, Dirar
•   We are the followers of Sa^d, Sa^eed, ^amir, and ^Ammar
•   We are the followers of every waliy amongst the awliya' of Allah the almighty,
•   We are the followers of al-^Abdariy with all honor and pride

•   Do you want to know who we are?
•   I will tell you our way and in brief, just record our honor and remember these facts,
•   We are a nation that rejects humility and dishonor
•   With our bravery there's a story filled with poems, we are a nation that longs for paradise and hates hellfire
•   We are clear and strong proofs throughout time, We are a nation with a pure path
•   We are glowing stars at night and day, we are entertaining like the moon in the dim darkness,
•   We are a the widespread fragrance in the lands, we are more amusing to the sight then the flowers and roses, to projects of goodness and guidance we are builders

•   Do you want to know who we are?
•   We are a nation spreading benevolence and goodness
•   In creed, we are Asharis we say with a loud voice: My lord is clear of being in a place, location or limitations. We believe that no one likens our lord to his creation but a blasphemer, their hearts are blinded and hardened like stones
•   We seek blessings by our Prophet and all that he left of blessed traces, and if we could, with his shoe we shall eyeline our eyelids.
•   These members of al-Mashari^ of the era, their light of guidance dazzles
•   In Summary (Mukhtasar) and (Bughia) their creed is obvious (idhhar).
•   These are the men of al-^Badariy (al-Harariy) their path is the path of the best of the best

•   I will give you an advice, you are intelligent and can choose, be with the mass of the nation and leave the evil faction
•   Stay steadfast on the Tawheed (clearing Allah from partners and resemblance), no matter what happens to you
•   I conclude with sending salawat and salam from me to the Prophet the best of the best, to whom the travelling to visit him is sought,
•   I send salwat and salam by the count of his lovers who send their salat and salam repeatedly, and by the count of those who praise him, and by the count of all the birds that rise and fly, and as long as near his grave is still the grave of his cave companion (Abu Bakr), and by the count of the visitors of the grave of al-^Abdariy visited by his followers.
