QASIDAT AL-IMAN

On the path of iman
Firm I am, Firm I am
On the path of Islam

I believe in Allah
Creator of everything
And Prophet Muhammad
Who came to all man and jinn

I believe in Judgment Day
And Angels that always obey
And the sacred Books revealed
The best of which is al-Qur'an

I believe in destiny
What Allah willed shall be
I'm a slave who can not question
The doings of my Lord

I believe in Paradise
Pleasures real, body and soul
And in tortures of extremity
In Hellfire unbearable

I believe that prophets came
With a message, that was the same
Worship God! Who does not need
Be sincere and do good deeds
