Poem The dead things yearned to your caring أنت الذي حنَّ الجمادُ لعطفِهِ

أنت الذي حنَّ الجمادُ لعطفِهِ       وشكا لك الحيوانُ يومَ رءاك
والجِذْعُ يُسْمَعُ بالحنين أنينُه       وبُكَاهُ شوقًا الى لُقياك
ماذا يزيدُك مدحُنا وثتاؤنا          واللهُ بالقراءن قد زكّاك
The dead things yearned to your caring

The animal that day to you was complaining

Hear the trunk in the mosque severely moaning

Weeping out of affection missing you not enjoying

Our praise, add what to your rank for your gaining?

While Allah has purified you as the Quran is conveying
