Not everyone who smiles in your face loves you. not everyone who makes dua for you wants the best for you. among the people are those who wish they had something against you so that they could hold it against you. among them are those resentful towards the most beneficial people for them. The best among you are those whom the Muslims are safe from their hands and their tongues. In the middle of their own houses, Allah exposes those who seek the defects of people, and know that it was said that Allah makes the flesh of the people of knowledge poison for those who back-bite. Deal with the people honestly and in a straightforward manner. Lower yourself (be humble) and Allah will raise you. Raise yourself and Allah will return you to your level.
