These three (3) matters are among the sins of the tongue and  are bad habits. It is confirmed that one of the Companions addressed  his tongue by saying:<\/p>\n<p>\u064a\u064e\u0627  \u0644\u0650\u0633\u064e\u0627\u0646\u064f \u0642\u064f\u0644\u0652 \u062e\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0631\u0627\u064b \u062a\u064e\u063a\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0645\u0652 \u0648\u064e\u0627\u0633\u0652\u0643\u064f\u062a\u0652 \u0639\u064e\u0646\u0652 \u0634\u064e\u0631\u0651\u064d \u062a\u064e\u0633\u0652\u0644\u064e\u0645\u0652 \u0645\u0650\u0646\u0652 \u0642\u064e\u0628\u0652\u0644\u0650  \u0623\u064e\u0646\u0652 \u062a\u064e\u0646\u0652\u062f\u064e\u0645\u064e\u060c \u0625\u0650\u0646\u0651\u0650\u064a \u0633\u064e\u0645\u0650\u0639\u0652\u062a\u064f \u0631\u064e\u0633\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u0650 \u0635\u064e\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650  \u0648\u064e\u0633\u064e\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0645\u064e: &#8220;\u0623\u064e\u0643\u0652\u062b\u064e\u0631\u064f \u062e\u064e\u0637\u064e\u0627\u064a\u064e\u0627 \u0627\u0628\u0652\u0646\u0650 \u0622\u062f\u064e\u0645\u064e \u0645\u0650\u0646\u0652 \u0644\u0650\u0633\u064e\u0627\u0646\u0650\u0647\u0650&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>[  Ya lisanu qul khayran taghnam waskut ^an sharrin taslam min qabli an  tandam. Inni sami^tu Rasulallahi, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, yaqul:  Aktharu khatayabni Adama mil-lisanih ]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Which means:<\/strong> \u201cO tongue, say what is good and you will gain, and keep silent about  what is bad before you regret it. I heard the Messenger of Allah saying:  \u2018Most of the human\u2019s sins are from his tongue.\u2019 \u201d Related by  at-Tabaraniyy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Gossip (Ghibah):<\/strong> Means to mention a matter related to a Muslim in his absence in a way  that he hates. If a Muslim person was short, and hated for that to be  said about him, and someone else said in his absence, so and so is  short, then this is considered among the unlawful gossip that the  Prophet prohibited.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allah, ta^ala, said in the Qur\u2019an:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u063a\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0628 \u0628\u0651\u064e\u0639\u0652\u0636\u064f\u0643\u064f\u0645 \u0628\u064e\u0639\u0652\u0636\u064b\u0627<\/p>\n<p>[ Wa la yaghtab ba^dukum ba^da ]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ayah 12 of Suratul-Hujurat means:<\/strong> {Do not make gossip against one another.}<\/p>\n<p><strong>2- Fabrication (Buhtan):<\/strong> This is mentioning untrue matters that a Muslim hates to be mentioned about him. It is more sinful than gossip.<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Prophet, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said, addressing some of the Companions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;\u0623\u064e\u062a\u064e\u062f\u0652\u0631\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e  \u0645\u064e\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u063a\u0650\u064a\u0628\u064e\u0629\u064f\u061f&#8221; \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0627: \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u064f \u0648\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0633\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064f\u0647\u064f \u0623\u064e\u0639\u0652\u0644\u064e\u0645\u064f\u060c \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064e: &#8220;\u0630\u0650\u0643\u0652\u0631\u064f\u0643\u064e  \u0623\u064e\u062e\u064e\u0627\u0643\u064e \u0628\u0650\u0645\u064e\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u0643\u0652\u0631\u064e\u0647\u064f&#8221;\u060c \u0642\u0650\u064a\u0644\u064e: \u0623\u064e\u0641\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0623\u064e\u064a\u0652\u062a\u064e \u0625\u0650\u0646\u0652 \u0643\u064e\u0627\u0646\u064e \u0641\u0650\u064a \u0623\u064e\u062e\u0650\u064a \u0645\u064e\u0627  \u0623\u064e\u0642\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064f\u061f \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064e: &#8220;\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0652 \u0643\u064e\u0627\u0646\u064e \u0641\u0650\u064a\u0647\u0650 \u0645\u064e\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u0642\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064f \u0641\u064e\u0642\u064e\u062f\u0650 \u0627\u063a\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0628\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0652  \u0644\u064e\u0645\u0652 \u064a\u064e\u0643\u064f\u0646\u0652 \u0641\u0650\u064a\u0647\u0650 \u0641\u064e\u0642\u064e\u062f\u0652 \u0628\u064e\u0647\u064e\u062a\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064f&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Which means:<\/strong> \u201cDo you know what gossip is?\u201d They said: \u201cAllah and His Messenger know  best.\u201d He said: \u201cMentioning your Muslim brother with what he hates.\u201d It  was said: \u201cWhat if what I said was true?\u201d The Prophet said: \u201cIf it was  true, then you have committed gossip about him. However, if it was  untrue, then you have committed buhtan against him.\u201d (Related by  Muslim.)<\/p>\n<p>The one who listens to the prohibited gossip has committed one of the sins of the ear. One must forbid people to gossip.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Talebearing (Namimah):<\/strong> It is relating the words of one person to another with the intent of  making trouble between them. An example of this is relating inciting  words to two people who like each other, with the intent of breaking  them up or making them hate each other.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allah, ta^ala, said in the Qur\u2019an:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u0647\u064e\u0645\u0651\u064e\u0627\u0632\u064d \u0645\u0651\u064e\u0634\u0651\u064e\u0627\u0621 \u0628\u0650\u0646\u064e\u0645\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064d<\/p>\n<p>[ Hammazim mashsha\u2019im binamim ]<\/p>\n<p>.<strong>Ayah 11 of Suratul-Qalam<\/strong> refers to dispraising the person who slanders others and spreads talebearing.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Prophet of Allah, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u0644\u0627\u064e \u064a\u064e\u062f\u0652\u062e\u064f\u0644\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0652\u062c\u064e\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0629\u064e \u0642\u064e\u062a\u0651\u064e\u0627\u062a\u064c<\/p>\n<p>[ La yadkhulul-Jannata qattat ]<\/p>\n<p>Qattat  is a term for the one who practices talebearing. This hadith means that  he will not be among the first people to enter Paradise; rather, the  qattat will enter it after receiving the punishment that he deserves in
