The greatest matters of Isla<\/span>m<\/em> are five:<\/div>\n

1- Testifying that no one is God except Alla<\/span>h<\/em><\/p>\n

and that Muh<\/span>ammad<\/em> is the Messenger of Alla<\/span>h, <\/em><\/p>\n

2- Performing S<\/span>ala<\/span>h<\/em> (Prayer),<\/p>\n

3- Giving Z<\/span>aka<\/span>h<\/em><\/p>\n

4–<\/em> Performing H<\/span>ajj<\/em> (Pilgrimage),<\/em><\/p>\n

5-and Fasting Ramada<\/span>n<\/em>.<\/p>\n

ALLA<\/span>H <\/em><\/strong>IS ONE, <\/strong>WITHOUT A PARTNER TO HIM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>is One, without a partner to Him.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>exists without a beginning or an end.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>does not have a wife.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>does not have a son or a daughter.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>does not have a father or a mother.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>does not have a brother or a sister.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>does not resemble us.<\/p>\n

No one is God except Alla<\/span>h<\/em>,<\/p>\n

the One without a partner to Him.<\/p>\n

Without Alla<\/span>h\u2019s<\/em> protection, no one can<\/p>\n

avoid disobeying Him,<\/p>\n

and without Alla<\/span>h\u2019s<\/em> help, no one has the strength<\/p>\n

to obey Him.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>is the Lord of my brother and my sister.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>is the Lord of my teacher and my friends.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>is the Lord of the heavens and the Earth.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>is the Lord of everything.<\/p>\n

I am a Muslim; I love Alla<\/span>h <\/em>so much.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>created the heavens and made them the residence[8]<\/span><\/span><\/a> of the angels.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h\u2019s<\/em> support suffices me.[10]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

No one is God but Him.<\/p>\n

On Him I rely, and<\/p>\n

He is the Lord of the Grand ^Arsh<\/em>.[11]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>speaks without a tongue or lips.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>does not have organs.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>knows without a teacher.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>does not resemble anything,<\/p>\n

and nothing resembles Him.<\/p>\n

If one of the above-mentioned matters occurs to a person, he must renew his ablution (wudu<\/span>\u2019<\/em>) before he prays.<\/p>\n

CLEANING AFTER USING <\/strong>THE BATHROOM<\/strong><\/p>\n

After urinating, and when the urine completely stops, the person cleans himself by wiping the eliminatory outlet with tissue or the like. Then he pours water on the outlet. If the najas<\/em>-filth is removed such that no color, taste, or odor remains, then the outlet becomes pure.<\/p>\n

Similarly, after defecating, one wipes the eliminatory outlet with tissue or the like. Then he pours water with his right hand on the outlet, rubbing it with his left hand. If the najas<\/em>-filth is removed such that no color, taste, or odor remains, then the outlet becomes pure.<\/p>\n

One could use water only, and, in some cases, tissue only to remove najas<\/em>–<\/em>filth, however using both of them as mentioned before is better.<\/p>\n

2- Praise and thanks to Alla<\/span>h<\/em>, the Owner (Rabb) <\/em>of the humans and jinn<\/em>, for the givings He granted without Him being obligated to do so.<\/p>\n

3- Alla<\/span>h<\/em> is ar<\/em>-Rah<\/span>ma<\/span>n<\/em> and ar-Rahi<\/span>m.<\/em><\/p>\n

4- Alla<\/span>h<\/em> is the Owner of the Day of Judgment.<\/p>\n

I stand up facing the noble Q<\/span>iblah.<\/em><\/p>\n

I raise my hands to the level of my ears and say,<\/p>\n

\u201cAlla<\/span>hu akbar.<\/em>\u201d[21]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

While I am saying \u2018Alla<\/span>hu akbar<\/em>\u2019 out loud, I say in my heart,<\/p>\n

I recite the opening supplication in a whisper. Then I recite the Fa<\/span>tih<\/span>ah <\/em>and another Su<\/span>rah<\/em> (chapter) of the Q<\/span>ur\u2019a<\/span>n<\/em>, even if it is a short chapter, out loud.<\/p>\n

Then I say, \u201cAlla<\/span>hu akbar\u201d <\/em>then bow (for ruku<\/span><\/em>^)<\/em>[23]<\/span><\/span><\/a> and say, \u201cSubha<\/span>na Rabbiyal-^Adhi<\/span>m<\/em>,\u201d[24]<\/span><\/span><\/a> three times.<\/p>\n

The Messenger of Alla<\/span>h<\/em>, s<\/span>allalla<\/span>hu ^alayhi wa sallam,<\/em> said:<\/p>\n

<<The best of the places on Earth are the mosques.>><\/p>\n

Related by Ima<\/span>m Muslim<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Muslims pray the five prayers in the mosques.<\/p>\n

Muslims become acquainted with each other in the mosques and thereby love each other.<\/p>\n

Alla<\/span>h <\/em>loves the mosques, as do the prophets and the righteous Muslims.<\/p>\n

[6]<\/span><\/span><\/a> The angels are honorable creations of Alla<\/span>h<\/em>. They are neither male nor female. They are all Muslim, obeying Alla<\/span>h.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

[10]<\/span><\/span><\/a> Every need of the person which is satisfied, is satisfied by Alla<\/span>h<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

[11]<\/span><\/span><\/a> The ^Arsh <\/em>is a platform with pillars; it is the largest body that Alla<\/span>h<\/em> created. Moreover, it is the ceiling of Paradise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

[12]<\/span><\/span><\/a> Our Master ^Aliyy<\/em> is the Companion, cousin, and son-in-law of Prophet Muh<\/span>ammad<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

[13]<\/span><\/span><\/a>The Integrals are those actions that are required for the validity of the wudu<\/span>\u2019<\/em>. The Sunnah<\/em> or optional actions are discussed in Book II.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

[15]<\/span><\/span><\/a> Slaughter in this supplication means the Islamic religious sacrifice performed during the H<\/span>ajj<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

[18]<\/span><\/span><\/a> Ar-Rahi<\/span>m <\/em>is a name of Alla<\/span>h <\/em>which means the One Who is Merciful to Muslims only in the Hereafter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
