:) Be aware all of you from laziness (al-kasal). The prophet, ^alayhi-s-salatu was-salam, said as part of his du^a': Wa^udhu bika minal^ajzi w-al-kasal. Al-^ajz means the weak endeavor in working for the Religion. It is not the weakness of the body. Many people have weak bodies, but when it comes to endeavor they are stronger than men with strong bodies. Both, weakness and laziness delay the person from reaching higher ranks.

Oh the wide moon rose over us

من ثنيات الوداع
min thaniyyāti 'l-wadā^
From the valley of Wadā^

وجب الشكر علينا
wajabash-shukru ^alaynā
And we owe it to show gratefulness

ما دعى لله داع
mā da^ā li-l-lāhi dā^
Where the call is to Allah.
أيها المبعوث فينا


'ayyuha 'l-mab^oothu fīnā
Oh you who were sent to us

جئت بالأمر المطاع
ji'ta bi-l-'amri 'l-muṭā^
Coming with a word to be obeyed

جئت شرفت المدينة
ji'ta sharrafta 'l-madīnah
You have brought to this city nobleness

مرحبا يا خير داع


marḥaban yā khayra dā^
