Bissmilah Ar-RaHman Ar-RaHeem wal  Hamdu lillahi rabil ^alameen waSalatu wassalamu ^ala sayyidina muHammadin ashrafil mursaleen wa Habeebi rabil ^alameen.

Let it be known that steadfastness in performing the obligations and refraining from the sins is the path that leads to happiness and safety in the Hereafter.

From the route of Mu^adh Ibn Jabal, Radiyallahu ^anhu, that he asked the Prophet:

"O Messenger of Allah, direct me to a deed which will lead me to Paradise and keep me away from Hellfire." The Prophet replied: "You have asked about a great matter, yet it is indeed, an easy matter for the one whom Allah the Exalted makes it easy. (It is ) that you worship Allah without associating anything with Him, that you perform the prayers, that you pay the zakah, that you fast during Ramadan, and that you perform the pilgrimage".

It is suitable for us to explain the meaning of ^ibadah (worship) which is the ultimate exaltation and the utmost submission.  The greatest right of Allah upon His slaves is to worship Him and to not associate anything with Him.

Brothers and sisters in Islam, worship Allah and obey him until death. Work hard in the transient life for the everlasting hereafter and be patient if inflicted with hardship and calamities.

Strive to worship Allah consistently whilst you're alive and able because we know that death is certain and our time on this world is limited. If you are struck with calamities and hardship, resort to prayer for it is the best deed after believing in Allah and His Messenger, and it will relieve you from your worries and concerns. Imam Ahmad narrated in his Musnad that the Prophet peace be upon him used to pray when experiencing hardship since the one who knows the reality of this world will work hard for the Hereafter and exert effort to obey Allah. Also, if you see others committing sins, don't join them, rather, perform acts of worship for it is said that the one who laughs when disobeying Allah will cry when entering Hellfire

May Allah protect us and keep us steadfast. And Allah knows best.
