We have entered a new day and with it all dominion belongs to Allah. Praise is to Allah. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah Alone, Who has no partner. To Allah belongs the dominion, and to Him is the praise and He has Power to do whatever He Wills. My Lord, I ask You for the goodness of this day and of the days that come after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and of the days that come after it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and helpless old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hell-fire , and from the punishment of the grave.

When you say this in the evening you should say: ‘Amsayna wa’amsal-mulku li-llah: “We have ended another day and with it all dominion is Allah’s” and Rabbi ‘as’aluka khayra ma fi hadhihil-laylati, wa khayra ma ba’daha, wa ‘a^udhu bika min sharri ma fi hathihil-laylati wa sharri ma ba^daha: “I ask You for the good things of this night and of the nights that come after it and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and of the nights that come after it.”

O Allah, I seek the counsel of Your Knowledge, and I seek the help of Your Omnipotence, and I beseech You for Your Magnificent Grace. Surely, You are the most powerful and I am not. You know and I know not, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, You know, so if this matter [then mention the thing to be decided] is good for me in my religion and in my life and for my welfare in the life to come, – [or say: in this life and the afterlife] – then ordain it for me and make it easy for me, then bless me in it. And you know, so if this matter is bad for me in my religion and in my life and for my welfare in the life to come, – [or say: in this life and the afterlife] – then distance it from me, and distance me from it, and ordain for me what is good wherever it may be, and help me to be content with it. Whoever seeks the counsel of the Creator will not regret it and whoever seeks the advice of the believers will feel confident about his decisions. Allah said in the Qur’an what means: “And consult them in the affair. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah.”

Al-Bukhari 7:162

While returning from travel

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha ill-Allahu wahdahu la sharika lah(u), lahul-mulk(u), wa lahul-hamd(u), wa Huwa ^ala kulli shay~in Qadir, aibuna ta’ibun(a), ^abiduna lirabbina hamidun(a), sadaqa-llahu~wa^dah(u), wa nasara ^abdah(u), wa hazamal-‘ahzaba wahdah.

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent. We return, repent, worship and praise our Lord. Allah fulfilled His promise, aided His Servant, and defeated the allies.

Al-Bukhariyy 7:163, 2:980

When Wearing a Garment

All Praise is for Allah who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, with no power or might from myself.

Irwa’ul-Ghalil 7:47

Remembrance Before Sleeping

Ayatul-kursiyy:

Allah is the One Who is the Only God, He is the One Who is attributed with an Eternal and Everlasting Life, He is the One Who manages and takes care of the world and does not need any one and every one needs Him. He is not seized with somnolence or sleep. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and Earth. No one will intercede, on the Day of Judgment, except with His permission. He knows all about His creation. They do not know except that which Allah allowed them to know, His Kursiyy extends farther than the heavens and Earth and He is not exhausted from preserving them, He is the One Who has the highest status  and Who rightly has the attributes of exaltedness, glory, greatness, and purity from all imperfection.

Surah Al-Baqarah – 2:255

(ten times after the maghrib & fajr prayers)

None deserve to be worshipped except Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things. (ten times after the Maghrib and Fajr Prayers)
